Makeup Is A Gir's Best Friend!

Every girl knows that if you want high-end makeup you have to pay full price because it almost never goes on sale. But here are a few spots where you can get some good deals on fantastic makeup:

MAC: Is one of my favorite brands because they have unique highly pigmented colors and their base makeups like foundation and powder don't have a crazy perfume smell or feel overly heavy (unless you have a case of user error). Sephora: This place is heaven on earth! All the different brands! They always have value sets (see picture below) that are reasonably priced and free shipping after $50 or $75 is spent in the store before tax. They also have a fantastic VIP program that gives you free almost full-sized goodies after $100 spent and sends invites to fantastic events. Join at all costs!

QVC: I know, crazy old ladies shop at QVC. But sometimes crazy shopping geniuses shop at QVC. It ain't your grandmothers QVC anymore! They have fantastic brands and value sets from Philosophy, Sephora, and Smashbox. They also have convenient payment plans for you fashionistas that need it now but are short on cash. Finally they have huge bulk sizes which are hard to find (sort of like Costco for the beauty-minded). Here's a sample of their Philosophy Microdelivery Wash in the bulk size. Under $45! One word of caution though....watch the shipping charges. I usually try to search the Internet for free shipping codes or you can join their e-mail update list and you'll occasionally get free shipping invitations.
